Professional Background
A Tulsa native, Jeff earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from The University of Tulsa in 1986. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from The University of Tulsa College of Law, followed by a Master of Taxation from The University of Tulsa Graduate School of Business.
Before joining the firm, Jeff worked as a Tax Senior Accountant for a Tulsa-based CPA firm, gaining experience in financial management and taxation—knowledge that continues to guide his approach to estate planning today.
Jeff became a licensed attorney in 1992 and joined the firm soon after, becoming a shareholder in 1997 when the practice became Riseling & Rhodes, P.C. With more than three decades of experience, he advises clients on estate planning, probate, trust design, trust administration, business succession, and high-level gift and estate tax planning. His background in accounting supports a careful, detail-oriented approach that helps clients make informed and confident decisions.
